About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the technical development of advanced ISR and strike aircraft systems from concept through flight test. You'll oversee multi-disciplinary engineering teams, manage prototype build and integration, and drive rapid execution while balancing design, safety, and risk.
What you'll do
- Own technical baseline and lead multi-disciplinary teams through detailed design, integration, and verification
- Coordinate prototype fabrication, assembly, and resolve engineering challenges during build
- Plan and execute comprehensive test programs including ground test, SIL/HIL, and developmental flight testing
- Guide critical design trades, subsystem optimization, and manage system interfaces
- Serve as technical authority for airworthiness, safety, and military flight release documentation
- Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting for issues discovered during integration and testing
