Chief Engineer, Fury Advanced Concepts
About this role
Lead technical development of Anduril's Fury unmanned aircraft program, owning the design process from concept through flight test for new variants and customer configurations. You'll serve as the primary technical authority, coordinate cross-functional engineering teams, and drive programmatic decisions while managing stakeholder relationships with customers and internal leadership.
What you'll do
- Own technical development roadmap including scope, cost, and schedule for Fury aircraft variants from concept to manufacturing
- Lead design trades and execute trade studies across functional engineering teams to establish vehicle configurations
- Develop program vision, requirements, and design review criteria; communicate strategy and track team execution
- Coordinate customer interactions to understand operational concepts, alternate configurations, and new capability needs
- Build and recruit technical teams around business opportunities; develop staffing estimates and budgets
- Prepare white papers and technical presentations for executive leadership and prospective customers
