About this role
Anduril Industries is hiring a Controls Engineer to design and commission automated production equipment at their advanced manufacturing facility in Columbus, Ohio. You'll develop Siemens PLC code, configure servo drives and VFDs, integrate FactoryOS software, and lead troubleshooting efforts for high-volume manufacturing systems.
What you'll do
- Design, commission, and upgrade control systems for production equipment
- Write and debug Siemens PLC code (Ladder and Structured Text) with emphasis on maintainability and reusability
- Configure servo drives, VFDs, and ethernet-based communication protocols (ProfiNET, ProfiSAFE, EthernetIP)
- Integrate FactoryOS software into automation equipment and production lines
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for automation failures
- Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement
