About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Controls Engineer III to design, commission, and upgrade automated control systems for high-rate solid rocket motor production in McHenry, Mississippi. You'll develop Siemens PLC code, configure servo drives and VFDs, and lead root cause analysis to ensure manufacturing reliability and continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Design, commission, and upgrade control systems for solid rocket motor production equipment
- Write and debug Siemens PLC code (Ladder and Structured Text) emphasizing maintainability and reusability
- Install, configure, and tune servo drives and variable frequency drives (VFDs)
- Integrate FactoryOS software into automation equipment and production lines
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for automation failures
- Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and drive continuous improvement
