About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Controls SCADA Engineer to design and maintain automation systems for Solid Rocket Motor production in Mississippi. You will manage the complete SCADA layer, from Siemens PLC programming through Ignition applications, ensuring reliable high-volume manufacturing operations.
What you'll do
- Design, commission, and upgrade control systems for rocket motor production equipment
- Write and debug Siemens PLC code in Ladder and Structured Text with emphasis on maintainability and reusability
- Build and maintain SCADA applications in Ignition, including tag architecture, Perspective screens, and alarming
- Configure and tune servo drives, VFDs, and ethernet-based communication protocols
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for automation failures to ensure rapid resolution
- Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot equipment, reduce downtime, and drive continuous improvement
