Electrical Manufacturing Engineer
About this role
Anduril Industries seeks an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to serve as the technical authority for Circuit Card Assembly production, embedded electronics, and test strategies. You will partner with hardware design teams to optimize designs for manufacturability, lead hardware bring-up on production lines, and collaborate with EMS suppliers to achieve high-yield, mission-critical reliability for cutting-edge defense systems.
What you'll do
- Drive DFM/DFA/DFT optimization by partnering with electrical hardware design teams during schematic capture and PCB layout for complex multilayer boards
- Review board layouts in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or Mentor Graphics to verify manufacturing feasibility and assembly yield
- Define manufacturing test coverage, test strategies, and production test protocols in collaboration with dedicated test engineering teams
- Lead embedded hardware bring-up activities on the production line and troubleshoot manufacturing issues
- Partner with Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) suppliers to ensure high-yield, mission-critical reliability at scale
- Embed with New Product Introduction (NPI) and rate production teams to rapidly iterate and scale defense hardware systems
