About this role

Oklo is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to serve as the owner-side technical lead for the Aurora nuclear power facility at Idaho National Laboratory. You'll coordinate electrical design and execution across internal teams, EPC partners, and vendors while managing the complete lifecycle from design through commissioning and operation.

What you'll do

  • Own electrical scope across design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and plant turnover
  • Coordinate electrical work between EPC partners and equipment vendors, ensuring clear interfaces and responsibilities
  • Review and maintain electrical design criteria, calculations, specifications, drawings, and equipment data
  • Conduct technical reviews of load flow, short-circuit, protective coordination, arc-flash, and grounding studies
  • Lead resolution of RFIs, design changes, nonconformances, and field issues across engineering and construction
  • Support equipment procurement by developing technical requirements and reviewing vendor proposals and submittals
