About this role
Anduril Industries seeks an early-career GNC (Guidance, Navigation, and Control) engineer to design, simulate, and test satellite subsystems for space domain awareness and military applications. You'll work on spacecraft dynamics, algorithm development, and hardware testing across the full mission lifecycle, from modeling to on-orbit operations.
What you'll do
- Design and tune spacecraft GNC algorithms including attitude determination, orbit determination, and maneuver planning
- Develop and maintain 3-DOF and 6-DOF physics-based simulations and conduct Monte Carlo analyses
- Implement and verify GNC algorithms in embedded C++ or Python with the Flight Software team
- Support subsystem and vehicle-level testing on FlatSats and Hardware-in-the-Loop testbeds
- Collaborate across Flight Software, Systems Engineering, and Hardware teams to translate mission requirements into flight capability
- Identify anomalies and verify sensor and actuator performance during testing
