About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a GNC Software Engineer to lead path planning and autonomous routing algorithms for command and control systems. You'll design and deploy real-time planning software, trajectory optimization, and multi-agent coordination systems for defense applications, translating cutting-edge research into deployed mission-critical solutions.
What you'll do
- Lead direction of a small team focused on path planning and route optimization within command and control software
- Prototype and deploy state-of-the-art algorithms for global/local path planning, trajectory optimization, and multi-agent coordination
- Develop high-performance real-time C2 software for mission planning tools and autonomous fleet routing services
- Design robust planners and search algorithms for safe, feasible routing in dynamic and contested environments
- Validate planner behavior through high-fidelity simulations and rigorous statistical analysis across diverse mission scenarios
- Customize algorithms for mission-critical use cases including collaborative autonomy and threat avoidance
