About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Hardware Test Engineer to oversee laser and camera system testing in production, ensuring high-quality defense technology products meet stringent standards. You'll troubleshoot complex infrared systems, develop test automation, and collaborate across engineering teams to continuously improve testing processes and resolve manufacturing issues.
What you'll do
- Own production test activities and troubleshoot complex infrared system issues during testing
- Develop and maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream from component to system level
- Create test work instructions and train technicians on equipment use in manufacturing execution systems
- Build and maintain test automation software, data analytics tools, and automated report generation
- Perform root cause failure analysis and recommend corrective actions for product defects
- Collaborate with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing teams on customer returns, failure analysis, and process improvements
