Integration and Test Engineer, Fuel Systems (Omen)
About this role
Anduril Industries seeks an Integration & Test Engineer to own fuel system testing for Omen, an advanced VTOL aircraft. You'll lead integration and testing from component-level benches through full vehicle ground tests, manage mass properties characterization across fuel states and orientations, and ensure safe handling of hazardous fluids throughout the test campaign.
What you'll do
- Own fuel system integration and test activities from component bench tests through full vehicle ground testing, including tanks, pumps, valves, sensors, and dispense sequencing
- Define requirements, measurement approach, and instrumentation for vehicle mass properties testing across different fuel states and orientations
- Develop and execute fuel system orientation test program to characterize fuel flow, pump performance, and tank dispense sequencing
- Define fixturing, tooling, and test setup requirements; partner with fabrication and ground support teams on hardware buildup
- Coordinate with structures/loads and systems engineering teams to define load cases and vehicle configurations for orientation and mass properties testing
- Ensure safety of integration environments with focus on fuel/hazardous fluid handling and heavy-lift operations
