About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Liaison Engineer for the Fury autonomous aircraft program at its Victorville test site. You'll serve as the on-site technical bridge between flight test operations and design engineering, providing rapid hands-on resolution to technical issues and nonconformances while maintaining airworthiness and configuration integrity throughout ground and flight testing.

What you'll do

  • Serve as primary engineering contact for maintenance crews during ground and flight test operations, resolving technical discrepancies in real time
  • Evaluate defects and nonconformances, issue engineering dispositions (use-as-is, repair, rework), and participate in Material Review Board discussions
  • Support root cause and corrective action investigations for recurring nonconformances, feeding findings back to design engineering
  • Create, authorize, and oversee redline drawing changes and field modifications for test instrumentation or design corrections
  • Ensure all temporary repairs, modifications, and deviations comply with FAA regulations and AS9100-aligned quality standards
  • Document and track aircraft configuration changes, repairs, and nonconformances in PLM/MES/ERP systems for lifecycle traceability

What they're looking for

  • Blueprint and CAD interpretation (3D models, wiring diagrams, technical manuals)
  • Material Review Board (MRB) evaluation and nonconformance disposition
  • Minor structural and electrical analysis
  • Technical writing and repair instruction authoring
  • FAA regulations and experimental airworthiness requirements
  • Configuration management and PLM/MES/ERP systems
  • Root cause and corrective action analysis
  • Cross-functional communication and stakeholder management
