Manufacturing Engineer

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to serve as the primary troubleshooter on an imaging production floor, responsible for minimizing downtime, diagnosing hardware and process issues, and maintaining optimal line performance. This hands-on role focuses on assembly, integration, and test of electromechanical and optomechanical systems while managing digital operations through MES/ERP platforms.

What you'll do

• Embed on production floor to rapidly diagnose and resolve in-line issues across assembly, integration, and test phases
• Triage and own downtime response, coordinating with engineering, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams
• Manage ERP and MES systems for production tracking, data integrity, and inventory flow
• Perform root-cause analysis on failing hardware and processes, implementing containment and corrective actions
• Create and maintain work instructions, SOPs, and rework procedures; manage ECO/ECN implementations
• Analyze line data to identify recurring failures and drive continuous improvements to yield and quality
