About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the industrialization of Altius, an advanced air-launched autonomous system for the U.S. military. You'll own the complete manufacturing value chain—from prototyping through high-rate production—optimizing processes, driving design-for-manufacturability practices, and scaling production capabilities while maintaining mission-critical quality standards.

What you'll do

  • Manage the full manufacturing lifecycle of Altius products from prototyping through high-volume production
  • Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) feedback during product development and design-to-production transitions
  • Create and optimize production line designs, tooling strategies, and assembly methodologies for scaling
  • Develop manufacturing documentation including MBOMs, work instructions, and quality procedures
  • Partner with suppliers and internal teams on sourcing, process implementation, and ongoing production issue resolution
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, quality, and production capacity
