About this role

Roku seeks a Software Engineer to develop and maintain core streaming platform software, including OS features, API integrations, and hardware bring-up. You'll work on end-to-end product development for the world's leading TV streaming platform, contributing across multiple programming languages and infrastructure tools.

What you'll do

  • Research, design, and develop software programs for streaming TV platforms
  • Develop features in C/C++, Java, Python, and web technologies for Roku OS
  • Execute partner SOC board bring-up and third-party API integrations
  • Support QA teams, channel certification processes, and production releases
  • Design scalability solutions for factory onboarding and deployment
  • Participate in end-to-end product development and release cycles
