Mission Operations Engineer
About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Mission Operations Engineer to own the Barracuda autonomous cruise missile program, bridging customer needs with product development. You'll manage the complete lifecycle from field testing and operator training through production sustainment, traveling frequently to execute demonstrations, live-fire events, and customer engagements.
What you'll do
- Become the expert on Barracuda employment, launch systems, mission planning, and customer kill chains
- Plan and execute flight tests, live-fire demonstrations, and customer events with Test & Evaluation teams
- Develop training programs enabling operators to independently plan, load, and employ Barracuda systems
- Translate customer mission problems into engineering requirements and represent operators at design reviews
- Establish sustainment support model including ammunition accountability, spares, technical data, and field support
- Build customer relationships and support proposals to expand the Barracuda program
