About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Mission Software Engineer to develop distributed mission systems infrastructure for autonomous military vehicles. You'll build the networking backbone, messaging services, and fleet coordination software that connects unmanned systems to command and control, working across the full lifecycle from simulation through live operations.
What you'll do
- Design and develop distributed mission software infrastructure for autonomous robotics platforms
- Build messaging, orchestration, and networking systems that coordinate multi-vehicle operations
- Develop services integrating with Lattice OS for fleet management and payload orchestration
- Collaborate with hardware, systems, and program management teams to deploy capabilities operationally
- Test and debug software on physical systems in lab and field environments
- Travel up to 30% for real-world build, test, and deployment activities

- C++ or Rust (production-grade, 2-3+ years)
- Linux development and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Low-latency, high-performance software design
