About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to design and automate production scheduling systems for maritime manufacturing. You'll build integrated workflows connecting ticketing, procurement, and production tracking while applying operations research and simulation to optimize factory operations.
What you'll do
- Design and implement business process automation for integrated master scheduling across the Protofactory
- Build automated workflows connecting tickets, materials & equipment deliveries, production events, and reporting dashboards
- Develop advanced simulation models using discrete event simulation and optimization techniques to identify bottlenecks and test scenarios
- Create data pipelines and real-time dashboards providing schedule visibility across platforms
- Apply operations research methods including queuing theory and Monte Carlo analysis to production planning
- Collaborate with Master Scheduler to translate complex scheduling logic into maintainable automated systems
