About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Process Engineer for its Maritime division in Santa Ana, CA to optimize manufacturing processes for autonomous vehicles and defense systems. You'll design process flows, create manufacturing documentation, collaborate with contract manufacturers, and drive continuous improvement initiatives from prototype to production scale.
What you'll do
- Develop process flows and break down complex assemblies into logical subassemblies and sub-processes
- Create manufacturing documentation including work instructions, quality plans, and inspection requirements
- Partner with contract manufacturers across metallic fabrication, assembly, and other disciplines to establish repeatable processes
- Collaborate hands-on with technicians and engineers to build and refine prototype hardware
- Contribute to mechanical and electrical design improvements including interconnects and board fabrication
- Travel to suppliers for sourcing, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing quality procedures
