About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Product Sourcing Engineer to drive strategic supplier relationships and cost optimization across defense drone hardware lifecycles. You'll manage supplier selection, new product introduction procurement, BOM development, and cost engineering while collaborating with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams.

What you'll do

  • Conduct supplier selection and early engagement activities including concept scoping and design trade-off analysis
  • Develop and consolidate manufacturing BOMs while managing NPI component procurement and CAPEX throughout product ramps
  • Partner with suppliers on joint design development, mechanical/electronics simulation, and statements of work
  • Lead cost engineering activities and value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time, flexibility, and total cost of ownership
  • Complete BOM risk assessments, component qualifications, and manage ad-hoc cost issues such as tariffs and inflation
  • Drive complexity reduction through component commonality optimization and supplier rationalization
