Product Sourcing Engineer, Advanced Effects

Anduril Industries seeks a Product Sourcing Engineer to strategically manage the supply network and drive cost optimization across hardware product lifecycles. This role combines supplier partnership, design collaboration, and supply chain optimization to accelerate product development and manufacturing ramp while maximizing total cost of ownership.

What you'll do

• Select suppliers and manage supplier partnerships for product development activities including requirements scoping, design tradeoffs, and cost modeling
• Develop and consolidate manufacturing BOMs with quality and manufacturing teams to support production scaling
• Conduct value-stream mapping and supply network optimization to improve lead times and operational flexibility
• Execute cost engineering activities to align bottom-up cost analysis with product targets across the lifecycle
• Lead BOM risk assessments, component qualification, and alternate sourcing strategies
• Manage capital expenditure and ad-hoc cost challenges such as tariffs and inflation impacts
