About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Robotics Engineer to design, integrate, and deploy industrial automation systems across manufacturing facilities. You'll drive the full lifecycle of robotic solutions—from concept through production—while establishing company-wide standards for safety, programming, and system integration.

What you'll do

  • Select, design, and integrate industrial robots and cobots for manufacturing applications from concept to production deployment
  • Develop, optimize, and debug robot programs including motion planning, safety configurations, and vision-guided operations
  • Specify and integrate end-of-arm tooling (grippers, sensors, custom tools) with robot systems
  • Design robot cell layouts with safety enclosures, work envelopes, and required infrastructure
  • Create and validate simulation models to verify reach, cycle time, and collision scenarios before deployment
  • Establish and enforce internal standards for robotic system design, programming, safety, and integration across the organization

What they're looking for

  • FANUC and UR robot programming and commissioning
  • Robot simulation software (ROBOGUIDE, UR Virtual Controller, Visual Components)
  • Robot kinematics, dynamics, motion control, and path planning
  • Industrial safety standards (ISO 10218, RIA R15.06) and safety function implementation (STO, SLS, SS1)
  • EOAT selection, design, and integration (pneumatic, electric, vacuum grippers)
  • Robot drive and servo motor configuration and troubleshooting
  • EtherNet/IP and Profinet networking
  • PLC programming (preferred: Allen Bradley, Siemens)

Benefits

  • Competitive equity grants included in full-time offers
  • Top-tier benefits package for full-time employees
  • Opportunity to define manufacturing automation at national scale
  • Cross-functional collaboration with controls engineers and mechanical designers
  • Work with cutting-edge defense technology and AI-powered systems
