About this role
Join Anduril's Battlespace Awareness team as a Robotics Software Engineer to design and deploy advanced path planning and autonomous routing algorithms for military command and control systems. You'll develop high-performance, real-time software for dynamic mission planning, multi-agent coordination, and fleet orchestration in resource-constrained, contested environments.
What you'll do
- Develop and prototype state-of-the-art path planning algorithms including graph-based search, sampling-based planners, and real-time replanning for dynamic mission conditions
- Design high-performance C2 software for real-time operational systems, focusing on asynchronous programming and reliable execution in resource-constrained environments
- Implement robust search algorithms and decision-making systems for safe, feasible routing in uncertain and contested environments
- Validate planner behavior through high-fidelity simulations and statistical analysis across diverse mission scenarios
- Integrate path planning technologies into the broader command and control software stack and development lifecycle
- Translate technical progress into actionable insights for colleagues, operators, and end-users
