About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Safety Equipment Engineer III to oversee machine safety for automated solid rocket motor production equipment at their McHenry, MS facility. You'll conduct hazard analyses, validate safety systems, ensure regulatory compliance, and investigate safety incidents throughout the equipment lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Support machine safety efforts for manufacturing and process equipment at the solid rocket motor production facility
- Conduct hazard analyses and risk assessments for conveyance, robotics, process equipment, and lifting systems
- Specify and validate safety hardware including E-Stops, scanners, light curtains, and door interlocks
- Serve as safety resource during design, commissioning, and validation of automated production equipment
- Investigate equipment safety failures and workplace injuries, providing corrective actions
- Ensure regulatory compliance for all production equipment
