Anduril Industries seeks a SCADA Controls Engineer to design and maintain automated manufacturing systems at their advanced facility in Columbus, OH. You'll manage PLC programming, Ignition SCADA applications, servo drive configuration, and cross-functional troubleshooting to support high-rate production operations.

What you'll do

  • Design, commission, and upgrade PLC-based control systems for production equipment
  • Develop and debug Siemens PLC code in Ladder and Structured Text with emphasis on maintainability
  • Build and maintain Ignition SCADA applications including tag architecture, screens, alarming, and historian
  • Configure and tune servo drives, VFDs, and ethernet communication protocols (ProfiNET, ProfiSAFE, Ethernet IP)
  • Conduct root cause analysis on automation failures and drive corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce downtime and improve reliability
