About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a senior Site Reliability Engineer to build and operate classified, distributed infrastructure supporting Space Domain Awareness for the U.S. Space Force. You'll own reliability and security across air-gapped global sites, architecting resilient systems and serving as a technical anchor for mission-critical operations.
What you'll do
- Stand up, harden, and maintain classified Linux infrastructure across globally distributed air-gapped sites with STIG compliance
- Build and evolve infrastructure as code using Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform for provisioning and configuration management
- Design and maintain observability across the stack using Splunk/ELK/OpenSearch for logging, alerting, and distributed tracing
- Manage and operate Kubernetes workloads at scale in production classified environments
- Provide 24/7 on-call incident response, root-cause analysis, and resolution for complex infrastructure and application issues
- Collaborate with Software Engineering, Mission Operations, and TPMs to validate operational readiness and drive continuous improvement

- Expert Linux proficiency (networking, filesystems, systemd, SELinux, kernel tuning)
- STIG compliance and system hardening

- Bash and Python scripting for production automation
- Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
- Air-gapped and classified environment operations
- Incident response and root-cause analysis
