About this role

What you'll do
- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance C++ software for defense applications with focus on low-latency and real-time operations
- Engineer scalable solutions addressing complex algorithmic challenges and memory management for mission-critical systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers and systems engineers to integrate C++ components and ensure system functionality
- Debug, test, and profile C++ code to identify performance bottlenecks and ensure reliability
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle from architectural design through testing and deployment
- Rapidly understand and contribute to large, mature C++ codebases and complex system architectures
