About this role
Join Anduril's Command and Control Software team to develop advanced path planning and autonomous routing algorithms for military systems. You'll design and deploy real-time planning solutions that coordinate unmanned platforms in dynamic, contested environments, working on both algorithmic innovation and production-grade software integration.
What you'll do
- Prototype and deploy state-of-the-art path planning and trajectory optimization algorithms for command and control systems
- Develop real-time replanning capabilities that adapt safely as mission conditions and vehicle states change
- Design high-performance, asynchronous software for resource-constrained operational platforms and autonomous tasking services
- Implement robust search algorithms and decision-making systems for safe routing in dynamic, uncertain environments
- Validate planner behavior through high-fidelity simulations and statistical analysis across diverse mission scenarios
- Integrate path planning technologies into the broader C2 software stack and communicate technical insights to stakeholders

- C/C++ and/or Rust programming
- Guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) systems
