Software Engineer - Maritime
About this role
Anduril's Maritime Division seeks a Software Engineer to develop autonomous maritime systems and software solutions, including vehicle autonomy, simulation, command and control, and payload integration. You'll own end-to-end software delivery across distributed robotic platforms while supporting billion-dollar defense contracts and next-generation underwater vehicle programs.
What you'll do
- Design and implement software for autonomous maritime platforms, including on-board autonomy and off-board command systems
- Own full lifecycle software delivery from architecture and design through testing, deployment, monitoring, and operational support
- Develop reusable software services and components across multiple Anduril product lines
- Create test and simulation fixtures with hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop capabilities
- Troubleshoot and support remotely deployed systems in the field, with travel up to 20% of the time
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including robotics, AI, sensor fusion, and data analysis specialists
