Software Engineer, Robotics Data Foundation (Cloud)
About this role
Anduril is seeking a Software Engineer for the Robotics Data Foundation team to design and build cloud systems that ingest, normalize, and make vehicle telemetry data discoverable across their fleet of defense robotics. You'll develop high-availability data platforms supporting both real-time streaming and batch processing while enabling engineers across the company to analyze vehicle data at scale.
What you'll do
- Design and build cloud data systems for ingesting and processing high-volume vehicle telemetry across multiple platforms
- Normalize telemetry data from diverse sources including flight controllers, vehicle management systems, and sensor payloads
- Develop extensible data architectures that integrate bespoke data sources into standardized ingestion frameworks
- Build and operate high-throughput streaming data pipelines supporting both cloud and edge-compatible deployments
- Partner with business line teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions meeting their specific constraints
- Ensure reliability, performance, and security of data systems in classified and air-gapped environments
