Software Engineer, Space Systems Test
About this role
Anduril is seeking a Software Engineer to design and build automated test platforms for space systems and flight hardware verification. You'll develop cloud-based tools for test execution, data collection, analysis, and fleet monitoring across integrated satellite systems supporting DOD and intelligence community missions.
What you'll do
- Architect cloud-based automated test software for space system verification at multiple integration levels
- Design test platforms enabling engineers to verify hardware modules, buses, payloads, and complete space vehicles
- Develop robust test reporting and logging systems for troubleshooting and anomaly resolution
- Create performance metrics for debugging and monitoring test system health
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers to integrate test software with satellite hardware and firmware
- Work cross-functionally to identify testing requirements and define verification and validation strategies
