About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Software Engineer to lead autonomous maritime system software development, spanning onboard autonomy to command-and-control platforms. You'll own end-to-end software solutions for next-generation underwater vessels and robotic platforms, balancing user needs with defense requirements.
What you'll do
- Design and implement scalable software for autonomous maritime platforms including Dive-XL, Dive-LD, and Copperhead systems
- Own deployed software solutions and optimize for end-user value delivery across the product lifecycle
- Develop onboard and off-board software for robotic platforms, including autonomy, simulation, and payload integration
- Create test and simulation fixtures with hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop capabilities
- Lead technical design and architecture decisions, mentoring junior engineers and coordinating cross-functional teams
- Travel up to 20% to collaborate with customers and support vehicle manufacturing and deployment
