About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Software Engineer to develop autonomous maritime systems and software solutions for next-generation underwater platforms. You will own end-to-end software delivery across autonomy, simulation, command & control, and payload integration, working with multi-disciplinary teams on billion-dollar defense contracts.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement scalable software for autonomous underwater vehicles and command & control systems
  • Own full lifecycle delivery of software-enabled solutions deployed to military customers
  • Develop on-board and off-board software across the technology stack using various technologies
  • Create test and simulation environments with hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop capabilities
  • Lead technical architecture, design, and evolution of vehicle and mission software systems
  • Support vehicle manufacturing, deployment, and field operations with up to 20% travel
