About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Structural Analysis Engineer to perform advanced static and dynamic analyses across defense platforms, develop finite element models, and collaborate with hardware teams to ensure design integrity. This role combines theoretical mechanics expertise with practical testing and validation across sea, ground, air, and space domains.
What you'll do
- Perform static and dynamic structural analyses using hand calculations, FEA software, and first-principles methods across multiple domains
- Create and manage finite element models at global and subsystem levels with proper organization and methodology
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to drive design improvements based on analytical findings
- Conduct validation testing including instrumentation, data collection, and correlation with analytical models
- Document analysis methodology and results in technical reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure designs comply with customer requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations

- FEA software (NASTRAN/Abaqus) with proficiency in linear/non-linear static, dynamic, and buckling analyses
- CAD tools (NX, Solidworks)
- MATLAB or Python for analytical modeling and automation

- Signal processing and model correlation
