About this role
Anduril Industries seeks an experienced Systems Engineer for their Air Defense team in Irvine to drive technical outcomes on autonomous defense systems. You'll serve as technical liaison between clients and engineering, owning program execution while managing stakeholder relationships, translating strategic goals into actionable plans, and ensuring seamless delivery of cutting-edge air defense capabilities.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, external clients, and industry partners to align objectives and influence engineering roadmap
- Own technical outcomes by understanding system performance, driving product development through operational data, and credibly representing systems to diverse audiences
- Translate strategic business goals and program requirements into actionable project plans with clear milestones and resource allocation
- Lead cross-functional execution from sprint planning through test events, removing blockers to deliver optimal technical outcomes
- Author interface specifications (ICDs) and own formal requirements/design reviews with strong troubleshooting capabilities
- Manage and unblock cross-team projects spanning hardware, software, test, and field operations
