About this role
Anduril seeks a Systems Engineer to lead technical direction for autonomous defense systems including drones and rocket motors. You'll drive systems architecture, safety analyses, requirements management, and cross-functional coordination for cutting-edge tactical products in a fast-paced defense environment.
What you'll do
- Drive systems thinking and processes for core products (Altius, Anvil, Bolt, Ghost)
- Partner with product leads to scope, staff, and deliver capabilities aligned with company milestones
- Design system architecture for safety, reliability, modularity, and maintainability across subsystems
- Execute System Hazard Analyses (SHAs) and Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEAs) for safety-critical requirements
- Coordinate and manage test events from lab simulations through flight tests and system integration
- Apply defense standards (STANAG, MIL-STD-882, MIL-STD-464, etc.) to engineering processes and requirements
