About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Systems Engineer to lead requirements management and verification planning for maritime defense hardware programs. You'll own the complete lifecycle of system requirements—from customer specifications through decomposition, traceability, and formal change control—ensuring every requirement is clear, verifiable, and traceable throughout the product lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Manage requirements database in Arsenal OS with full administrative authority; establish and enforce authoring standards and metadata controls
- Maintain bidirectional traceability from top-level customer specifications to component-level requirements with auditable parent-child relationships
- Develop Verification Cross-Reference Matrices (VCRM) in partnership with Test Development to define verification methods for all requirements
- Lead formal change control processes; evaluate impacts to schedule, cost, design, and verification scope for proposed requirement changes
- Author, review, and approve all system and subsystem requirements specifications ensuring consistency and compliance with applicable standards
- Represent requirements discipline in technical reviews (SRR, SDR, PDR, CDR, TRR), change control boards, and program forums with data-driven status reporting
