About this role

Anduril Industries seeks an Electrical Wiring and Interconnect Systems (EWIS) harness engineering co-op student to design, fabricate, and integrate harness systems for advanced defense technology platforms. You'll develop wire diagrams, connector specifications, and assembly procedures while collaborating across engineering disciplines in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple concurrent projects.

What you'll do

  • Design, fabricate, and integrate harness systems meeting technical and environmental requirements
  • Develop wire diagrams, block diagrams, and formboard drawings for production release
  • Select and procure connectors, wire, shielding, and cable components based on system needs
  • Perform electrical trade studies and risk analysis for voltage drop, crosstalk, EMI, and thermal effects
  • Prepare assembly instructions and test procedures aligned with industry and MIL-STD standards
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and quality teams during design reviews

  • 3D CAD harness routing (Siemens NX Cabling preferred)
  • Wire diagram and interconnect diagram interpretation
  • Electrical bus interface knowledge (CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, 1553)
  • EMI/EMC principles and signal integrity analysis
  • MIL-STD and harness standards familiarity
  • Power distribution and grounding design
  • SWaP (Size, Weight, Power) optimization
  • Technical documentation and communication
