About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Test Automation Engineer Co-op for Winter 2027 to join the Manufacturing Test organization in Washington, DC. You'll own scoped projects end-to-end—from automating test procedures in Python to building cloud data pipelines and CI/CD improvements—supporting quality assurance for defense technology systems.

What you'll do

  • Develop and validate automated test sequences in Python to replace manual procedures on manufacturing lines
  • Integrate local test station data with cloud pipelines, handling authentication and security
  • Investigate test failures, root-cause issues, and build triage tools or dashboards for operators
  • Design and implement discrete features for test executive applications (Windows/Linux)
  • Automate manual deployment steps in CI/CD pipelines with documentation
  • Write scripts for device communication over protocols like USB, Serial, CAN, and Ethernet
