About this role

Antares seeks an Embedded Controls Engineer to develop and deploy real-time control software for a nuclear power conversion system. You'll evolve existing Simulink models into robust applications supporting complex operating modes, fault management, and diagnostics while collaborating across electrical, mechanical, and systems teams.

What you'll do

  • Own architecture, development, validation, and deployment of the PCS control application
  • Develop and maintain model-based software using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow with scalable, reusable design
  • Design and tune closed-loop controls for power conversion, thermal, and electrical processes
  • Develop state machines, operating modes, interlocks, and fault-response logic for degraded operation
  • Execute Model-in-the-Loop, Software-in-the-Loop, and Hardware-in-the-Loop testing and validation
  • Troubleshoot and optimize control behavior during simulation, commissioning, and field operation
