About this role

Antares seeks an Equipment Reliability Engineer to establish and manage manufacturing equipment reliability programs for advanced nuclear microreactor production in Los Angeles. You will lead breakdown repairs, design preventive maintenance systems, build a CMMS from scratch, and drive equipment uptime and safety across CNC machine tools and production assets in a fast-growing aerospace and energy company.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute equipment reliability roadmap balancing safety, quality, uptime, and production risk
  • Lead troubleshooting and breakdown repair for mechanical, electrical, controls, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Design and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance plans using criticality analysis and failure history
  • Build and administer CMMS from scratch with asset hierarchy, PM libraries, work orders, and dashboards
  • Establish spare parts inventory strategy based on equipment criticality and supplier lead times
  • Conduct root cause analysis using 5 Whys, fault-tree analysis, and FMEA; manage corrective actions
