About this role
Antares seeks a Licensing Engineer to develop and execute regulatory strategies for advanced microreactors across military, DOE, and NRC pathways. The role involves preparing licensing submittals, translating regulatory requirements into design specifications, and coordinating stakeholder engagements to advance deployment approvals.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute licensing and regulatory engagement strategies for microreactor programs
- Identify applicable regulatory requirements and translate them into design, analysis, and documentation needs
- Prepare licensing plans, technical reports, regulatory submittals, and responses to regulator inquiries
- Track regulator and stakeholder comments, commitments, and closure status throughout the licensing process
- Evaluate design compliance with regulatory requirements and coordinate cross-functional reviews
- Support development of scalable licensing processes for future commercial deployments
