About this role
Anthropic seeks a full-stack software engineer to build infrastructure and applications enabling their AI safety research teams to experiment, evaluate models, and extract insights more effectively. You'll work directly with researchers to understand workflows, identify bottlenecks, and ship tools that accelerate their productivity—from evaluation interfaces to experiment orchestration platforms.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain full-stack applications and infrastructure for researcher workflows including experiments, feedback collection, and analysis
- Partner with research teams to understand pain points and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Design intuitive interfaces and abstractions for complex research tasks
- Create reusable platforms and tools to accelerate development of new research applications
- Rapidly prototype and iterate on solutions based on user feedback
- Own complete product areas from user needs through implementation and ongoing iteration
