About this role

Join Apex as an Enterprise Security Engineer to design and maintain secure enterprise architectures across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. You'll provide technical leadership in cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and compliance while protecting critical aerospace and satellite technology assets against evolving threats.

What you'll do

  • Design and maintain enterprise-wide cybersecurity architecture for cloud, on-premises, and multi-cloud environments
  • Lead deployment and integration of security technologies including SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, EDR/XDR, IAM, and vulnerability management platforms
  • Conduct threat modeling, security architecture reviews, and vulnerability assessments for new systems and applications
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks including NIST 800-53/171/172, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and SOC 2
  • Provide architectural guidance during security incidents and support threat hunting and forensic analysis
  • Mentor junior cybersecurity engineers and serve as SME for technical and business stakeholders
