About this role
Applied Intuition seeks a Data Engineer to design and optimize data pipelines for ML model training, with focus on scaling labeling infrastructure, integrating foundation models for automation, and supporting DoD customers. The role requires 5+ years of experience in ML infrastructure and data systems, U.S. citizenship, and security clearance eligibility.
What you'll do
- Build and optimize data pipelines to support ML model training and inference at scale
- Evolve data engine architecture to improve label quality, reduce annotation costs, and accelerate ML cycles
- Integrate foundation models (LLMs, VLMs) to automate labeling, quality assurance, and data discovery
- Implement software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop testing frameworks
- Collaborate with DoD customers to understand requirements, troubleshoot field issues, and deliver customer success
- Drive ownership and impact on new product initiatives with a growth mindset
