Software Engineer - Real-Time Vehicle Telemetry & Visualization
About this role
Applied Intuition is seeking a Software Engineer to build a Command & Control frontend platform for defense autonomy applications. You'll design and implement data-oriented UIs with 2D/3D visualization capabilities, working closely with design and backend teams to deliver intuitive mission planning, monitoring, and debrief interfaces.
What you'll do
- Design and implement data-oriented frontend UI/UX platform with 2D/3D graphics and live agent visualization
- Develop 2D/3D geographic map rendering and spatial visualization tools for defense applications
- Collaborate with Design team to understand user workflows and translate requirements into product vision
- Integrate frontend implementation with in-house simulator, data pipelines, and autonomous systems
- Build principled architecture with clear separation of concerns and comprehensive test fixtures
- Iterate rapidly in day-long cycles to deliver mission-critical autonomy tooling
