About this role

Applied Intuition is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to lead hardware and software integration for vehicle builds, primarily for defense applications. This is a hands-on role involving defining vehicle architecture, coordinating builds, and traveling extensively to support installations and demos. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle hardware integration, autonomy, and a willingness to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

What you'll do

  • Define vehicle hardware architecture (compute, sensors) and manage component procurement.
  • Coordinate wiring harness design and sensor mounting with cross-functional teams.
  • Specify and track sensor tuning requirements (e.g., camera ISP parameters).
  • Partner with autonomy teams to scope drive-by-wire (DBW) validation and tuning plans.
  • Travel domestically and internationally to lead vehicle builds and installations.
  • Assess power/network/IT infrastructure needs for new operational sites.
