Applied AI Engineer
About this role
Arena Intelligence is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to serve as a technical partner to leading AI labs, managing customer relationships while building solutions that integrate and evaluate frontier models. You'll balance customer success ownership with hands-on engineering to solve high-impact problems across their platform.
What you'll do
- Manage 5–15 active relationships with AI research labs as primary technical contact
- Integrate customer models, run evaluations, and deliver results in partnership with researchers
- Own and execute key process improvements such as model onboarding flows or customer tooling
- Translate customer feedback and research directions into product and engineering initiatives
- Build pragmatic full-stack solutions that extend platform capabilities for customers
- Drive delivery consistency across onboarding, releases, co-launches, and issue resolution
