About this role

Armory seeks an Applied AI Engineer to help rebuild healthcare transaction infrastructure by bridging field insights with systems design. You'll work in a small NYC team to ship AI-powered workflow solutions for federal healthcare institutions, combining product instinct with rigorous engineering to scale impact across the healthcare system.

What you'll do

  • Gather customer signal from the field and translate it into architected system components rather than one-off solutions
  • Build and ship production AI and workflow systems that integrate with healthcare institutions
  • Design systems that compound in value, making subsequent problems easier to solve
  • Collaborate across engineers, strategists, and business development to prioritize and execute
  • Own technical decisions while maintaining clear communication with non-technical stakeholders
  • Identify product gaps and advocate for platform-level improvements early in development cycles
