About this role

Asana is hiring a Software Engineer to build user-facing experiences for AI Teammates, autonomous agents that collaborate with teams on complex workflows. You'll develop full-stack features enabling users to interact with and manage AI agents, working closely with product, design, and platform teams in a hybrid San Francisco office.

What you'll do

  • Develop full-stack systems and product surfaces for guiding and collaborating with AI Teammates
  • Partner with product, design, and platform teams to translate AI capabilities into intuitive user experiences
  • Design and iterate on interaction patterns for AI, including conversational flows and human-in-the-loop workflows
  • Apply product judgment and rapid experimentation to validate features and measure impact
  • Contribute to discovery, adoption, and ongoing collaboration experiences for teams, admins, and individual users
  • Build robust systems that maintain context and trust in AI agent interactions
